My photo adventures begin the night before, checking weather conditions, choosing location, clothing and gear. As an early riser, getting up before dawn feels natural and relaxing, I gather my thoughts and head out the door.
When twilight arrives I'm on the scene, excitement builds as the darkness turns to shadows and sounds of life grow louder, birds singing, the flutter of wings and splashes of water. Twilight only lasts for about 30 minutes and requires special camera considerations, but can be very rewarding.
Sunrise is the start of the "golden hour", the light is softer and warmer which translates into beautiful, comforting images. I believe this to be life's favorite time of the day.
Beauty can't always be caught on camera but can be seen daily, not just in wildlife but especially in the kindness and love of one for others.
May God Bless us that we may see and imitate the love and beauty He gives us!
